[Webinar] Best practices for using AI tools
for financial document review

Synopsis

This webinar elaborates on using AI tools for document review, for which guidance is provided in the “Guide for Using Generative AI in the Legal Sector”, where the documents are financial in nature.  The financial use cases for AI tools include detecting fraud and other legal issues arising from financial statements.

In the course of legal practice, lawyers especially those involved in asset recovery litigation, due diligence and advisory work need to know where in the set of financial statements to scrutinise for red flags, frame the legal issues that could arise and the next steps to take.

Litigator Gerard will share how he analyses financial statements for his practice area while capital markets lawyer Pih Peng will cover how she reads financial statements for transactions work. Our special guest accountant and AI engineer Andrew will provide insights on how his profession has been using AI tools for financial and other analyses of financial statements for, inter alia, detecting discrepancies and fraud.
